CTI's innovative control modules let you manage every aspect of your model
railroad automatically from your PC. Any number of modules can be connected,
in any combination, to your computer.
With CTI's easy-to-use network interface, modules may be placed throughout
your layout, wherever you desire computer control. The system is completely
modular. It can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your layout, and
is easy to expand as your railroad grows.
All of CTI's control modules are ruggedly designed, professionally assembled and tested,
and are backed by a full 2-year warranty.
Check out our family of affordable control and sensing modules below. If you're
still uncertain which modules are best for your application, we've created a
Quick-Reference guide to help with your decision.

Dash-8
|
The Train Brain-8, (or "Dash-8" for short), is an all-control version
of the Train-Brain. It can control 8 devices.
Each of its controllers are rated for a whopping 10 Amps, and can be used to control
AC or DC devices. As a complement to the original Train-Brain, the Dash-8 is a cost
effective solution to control-intensive applications where high currents are involved. |

Switchman
|
The Switchman is our most cost-effective general-purpose control solution. It can control 16 devices.
Each of its controllers are rated for up to 28 Volts DC at 2 Amps (4 Amps pulsed).
With built-in protection against kickback from inductive loads, it's the perfect choice
for controlling moderate current DC loads such as dual-coil switch machines, lighting, small motors,
solenoids, relays, etc. |

$89.95 |
YardMaster
|
The YardMaster is optimized for the job of controlling stall motor and single-coil solenoid-based switch machines.
It can control up to 16 switch machines.
With a generous 1 Amp output capacity and built-in protection against kickback from inductive loads, like it's namesake, it's ready to
handle all of your railroads switching needs. |
TB015 |
$79.95 |
Watchman
|
The Watchman is an all-sensing version of the Train-Brain. It can
monitor 8 sensors.
The Watchman features 8 individually adjustable sensor ports, and is compatible
with all popular forms of train detection, including magnetic, IR, photocell,
and current detection. |

$59.95 |
Sentry
|
The Sentry is the cost-effective solution when your layout demands lots of sensing capability.
It can monitor 16 sensors.
The Sentry features 16 fixed-sensitivity sensor ports, and is compatible with all popular forms
of train detection, including magnetic, IR, photocell, and current detection. It's also great for
monitoring pushbuttons, motion sensors, light sensors, etc. At just $4.38 per sensor port, the cost
of sensing has never been so low. |

Signalman
|
Each Signalman controls 16 signal lights. It works with all block, searchlight,
and positional signals, and can implement any signalling protocol. Also great for
controlling grade crossing flashers, traffic lights, warning beacons, etc.
-CC version for use with common cathode LED signals
-CA version for use with common anode LED signals
-BP version for use with bipolar LED signals
-IC version for use with incandescent lamp signals

Smart Cab
|
The Smart-Cab allows computer control of speed, direction, and momentum of all
DC operated trains.
Trains can respond automatically to signals, run according to scheduled timetables,
etc, all under PC control.
Smart Cab provides a hefty 50 Watt output capacity, with full overload and
short-circuit protection. |

RFID Reader
|
Train identification has become an important aspect of computer-controlled model
railroading, particularly on DCC-operated layouts, where it is an essential
prerequisite for automated operation.
CTI's RFID Reader provides identification of DCC- or conventionally-operated trains. In contrast to DCC transponding, RFID requires no complicated wiring..
See the "Accessories" page of the CTI catalog for compatible RFID tags. |
